Challenged by international and domestic hardships, European countries are changing their mindset. The EU, a unique political organization: several sovereign nation-states decide stronger cooperation in specific areas, can be a platform for a "European resurgence". A fragmented range of interests and political views come to work together, overcoming differences, for the common interest of Europeans.
